CALIFORNIA · CUSTOM CHURCH FURNITURE
Custom chairs for worship, tables for fellowship and a clear brief for every place your church gathers.
A sanctuary, a hall and a courtyard can sit a few steps apart while needing different furniture. Tell us where each piece will be used, the appearance you like and what moves between gatherings.

START WITH THE ROOM
Begin with the worship arrangement: the rows your church uses, where books belong and which seats might need arms. Describe the platform, woodwork and flooring around the new chairs. A familiar material or color can connect a fresh seating layout to the room your congregation already knows.
Individual upholstered wood chairs offer a starting direction for replacing pews or furnishing a new sanctuary. Include the details that matter to your room, such as row linking, different widths or coordinated seating near the platform. The illustrated chair is a custom concept, with the final construction and dimensions discussed through the quote.
Give this indoor seating its own quantity. If some chairs will also be carried through a courtyard or used outdoors, add that to the brief before assuming the same design belongs in both settings.
THE CONVERSATION CONTINUES OUTSIDE
California churches provide useful examples of worship rooms connected to other gathering places. Northminster Presbyterian Church in Sacramento describes fellowship in its hall and in the courtyard when weather allows. Calvary Church in Santa Ana describes a central courtyard that extends the use of its worship center, chapel and fellowship hall.
For a furniture request, those connections raise practical questions: which chairs remain indoors, which pieces are intended for a covered area, and what is actually used in an exposed setting? Keep these uses distinct so the supplier can discuss suitable furniture for each one. Northminster’s visitor information ↗ · Calvary’s campus description ↗
Note direct sun, whether furniture stays out overnight, the surface under the chairs and where pieces are put away. A shaded paved courtyard and an indoor hall are different requests. The indoor upholstered designs on this page do not establish outdoor suitability.
A COORDINATED WOOD DESIGN
Compare one chair design with and without a rear book rack. Save a preference here; it stays in your quote while you explore the rest of the page.

Use the rack version as a starting point when hymnals or Bibles are kept at the seats. Include the books and any other contents you want it to hold.

A clean back keeps the upholstered frame simple when books have another home. Let us know if your church wants some chairs with racks and some without.
All pictured furniture and church settings are original design illustrations, not named installations.
TABLES BELONG IN THE SAME REQUEST
Round tables encourage a different arrangement from sanctuary rows. Describe the number and sizes of tables, the desired chair arms and the clearances that help people sit down comfortably. If you are keeping existing tables, include their height and a photograph.
Upholstered metal chairs are another custom direction for these rooms. Ask about the handling features your team needs, including linking, stacking and compatible carts. Those details depend on the proposed chair, so include them as requirements rather than assuming them from its appearance.

YOUR PLACE-BY-PLACE BRIEF
Record the furniture you need in each setting. These optional notes are included with your quote request. Use approximate quantities and leave undecided details open.

BRING THE MATERIALS TOGETHER
You might prefer light wood and warm upholstery in the sanctuary, with a related fabric on metal chairs in the hall. Tell us which colors and materials should carry between the rooms and where a different look is welcome.
Include how upholstered chairs will be used and cleaned, the seat dimensions you have in mind and any chairs with arms. For outdoor furniture, ask about the materials and care for that specific use separately. Matching a color does not mean two pieces have the same intended environment.
The same thinking helps a small chapel. It can feel connected to the main worship room while using a different chair arrangement or fewer furniture pieces.

Provide the actual delivery ZIP, entrance and a contact who knows the property. Describe any gate, unloading window or path through the campus, including where the furniture first arrives and where it finally belongs.
Coordinate old-furniture removal and floor preparation with the proposed arrival. Ask for the chair options, tables, freight and any unloading or setup services you need to be included in the project conversation. A preferred first-use date helps the supplier discuss the available order and delivery arrangements.
If the order serves multiple locations, keep each destination and quantity separate in the notes. The furniture-use worksheet gives your committee a place to collect that information.
Yes. State the uses separately and describe the exposure and storage for the outdoor pieces. The supplier can discuss appropriate designs and availability for each part of the project.
Include that intended use before choosing a final chair. Describe the route, surface, exposure and storage; a room photograph or indoor chair illustration does not answer those questions for the proposed furniture.
Leave the outdoor notes blank. Give the indoor quantity, wood or metal direction, rack choice and the room details you have now.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PROJECT
Include the indoor rooms, any outdoor uses and the furniture you would like for each. A furniture supplier can follow up about suitable designs, pricing and delivery.
