THE ROOM LIST COMES FIRST

Keep each room's furniture destination visible.

Broad Run Baptist Church in Jane Lew describes a sanctuary and separate annex areas, including classrooms and a fellowship hall. Its building-use page offers a local example of different activities spread across several parts of a church. Your chair list can reflect that same room-by-room thinking without assuming every space needs identical furniture. Read the local facilities example ↗

Start with the main worship room, then list the smaller rooms included in the purchase. Record the new quantity and retained furniture for each. If chairs move between areas, name the shared group and the route it follows rather than adding its quantity to every destination.

Include the location of each room within your actual building. A ground-floor chapel, upstairs meeting room or separate hall may have different receiving and storage arrangements. Those details belong in the furniture request when they affect how the proposed chair will be delivered or moved.

FELLOWSHIP AND TABLE SEATING

Give the fellowship room its own chair and table combination.

List the table sizes already in use and the gatherings the room hosts. Meals, small-group discussions and presentations can require different arrangements even when the furniture inventory stays the same.

Describe whether chairs remain around tables or return to storage after each gathering. If lighter handling, stacking or carts would help, ask about those features for the offered design. Include the narrowest relevant door or turn along the real storage route.

Related upholstery and wood tones can connect the room to the sanctuary. Keep the fellowship quantity separate, however, so table fit, cleaning and rear details are considered for that room's use. Add any new tables or serving furniture to the same brief.

CUSTOM CHAIR DETAILS

Choose where books belong.

A medium-cherry wood chair can be specified with books at the seat or with a clean back. Compare the rear detail alongside the way each room stores its books.

Chairs with rear book racks

Request a rear rack for the worship or chapel groups that keep hymnals nearby. Include book dimensions and the rack-equipped quantity for each room.

Chairs without rear book racks

Request no rear rack where books live on shelves or chairs serve tables. Add the chair's storage and movement requirements to the same room line.

YOUR WEST VIRGINIA CHAIR BRIEF

Connect the room list to the receiving route.

A supplier needs to understand both the furniture you want and where it belongs. Start with the rooms and quantities, then add the handling details you know.

FROM ROOM NOTES TO A PURCHASE

Measure the route the furniture will actually take.

Walk from the proposed receiving entrance to each destination room and storage area. Note the relevant doors, turns, changes of level and available lifts or stairs. Measure the clear openings that matter for the proposed chair, its packaging and any handling equipment being considered.

Then identify an indoor place where the arriving groups can be checked and kept together. Use room names on the quantity schedule so sanctuary chairs, chapel chairs and table seating reach the intended spaces. If the receiving entrance differs from the public entrance, describe it clearly in the delivery discussion.

For Charleston, Huntington, Morgantown, Parkersburg, Wheeling or another West Virginia community, provide the physical receiving address and ZIP. Include the person coordinating access and the preferred first-use date in the project request. Delivery and placement arrangements can then be discussed for the actual order.

MATERIALS AND THE FINAL ROOM PLAN

Coordinate the new chair with the furniture the church will keep.

Use retained lecterns, tables or trim as references for the requested wood tone. Describe whether the new chairs should feel closely related or simply comfortable alongside those pieces. Review the proposed fabric in the room's ordinary light.

For smaller chair groups, keep special options within the room total. State how many chairs with arms or rear racks are desired and where they will be used. A modest chapel quantity deserves the same clear configuration notes as the larger sanctuary order.

West Virginia church chair questions

Can we include a small chapel in the same quote?

Yes. Give the chapel its own quantity and configuration, including book storage and any chairs with arms. Related finishes can connect it to the larger worship space while preserving its specific needs.

What if furniture must reach rooms on different levels?

Describe each destination and the actual available route. Include clear openings, turns and relevant stairs or lifts so the proposed furniture, packaging and handling arrangement can be discussed.

Should delivery use the mailing address?

Provide the physical receiving address and explain the intended entrance. A mailing address alone may not identify where the furniture can arrive or how it will reach the rooms.

Can we request different frames for worship and table seating?

Yes. Identify the preferred frame, upholstery, rear detail and quantity for each group. Include table dimensions for the fellowship chairs and any shared handling requirements.
